A Sanskrit-flavoured stuti by Tulsidas that has become one of the best loved hymns to Rama and is often sung as his aarti. It praises the compassionate Rama whose eyes, face, hands and feet are like lotuses, who destroys the fear of worldly life, and asks him to live in the devotee's heart. The closing lines are the verses in which Sita, after praying to Gauri, hears her blessing. It is sung on Ram Navami, at Sunderkand recitals and at the end of Ramayana readings.
Played from the artist's or label's own YouTube channel. Recordings often sing extra verses or a slightly different wording from the text shown here.
