Lakshmi Beej Mantra

A well known mantra of Mahalakshmi using the seed syllables Shreem and Hreem. It addresses her as Kamala, the lotus goddess whose home is the lotus, asks her to be gracious, and then bows to Mahalakshmi. It is a tradition mantra, not from a Veda. It is chanted for prosperity and well being, commonly 108 times, especially on Fridays and at Diwali.
