Ganesha
Vakratunda Mahakaya
A short and very popular prayer to Ganesha, the curved trunked, large bodied one who shines like a crore of suns, asking him to make all undertakings free of obstacles. It is recited at the start of a puja, a journey, an exam or any new work. It is often said once or a few times, or counted 108 times on a mala.
